Bhutan and the Blueprint for a Wise City.
Timour's recap of Edge City Bhutan, rebuilt as a capsule: a short, scrolling motion-picture site you read on a phone.
It feels less like a blog and more like a short film. It's a great format for launches, fundraising, founder stories etc. where you need to stand out.
The Blueprint for a Wise City on every surface.
We turned the essay into a scrolling capsule, made with both real imported photos and generated imagery. Footage of the descent into the valley opens it, with imagery and motion composed around Timour's words.
We published the capsule on Bhutan National Day, and Timour's post about it went on to cross fifty five thousand views and was bookmarked over seven hundred times.
We made it a capsule.
Timour Kosters had written a recap of Edge City Bhutan: an eight-day exploration of the country's futuristic experiment in mindful development. A considered, first-person essay that deserved more than a wall of text.

wow, this is next level, well done!
ok well this is awesome
Love it! Wanted to build this but with panning static images a few years back, now sorry I didn't 🥲

What a dope idea
This is cool! Going to try this! Thanks for sharing!

This is super cool: a new product called Capsules that turns your essays or posts into beautiful animated microsites.
@capsulesink built this demo using my Bhutan essay. It feels less like a blog and more like a short film.
A beautiful way to celebrate Bhutan National Day. 🇧🇹

Your story could be next.
Bring us the piece of writing you want made. We make the capsule with you, end to end.
